All the villas have been stylishly furnished by a leading European designer and contain almost every modern western-style convenience you could possibly imagine, including many that even expensive hotel suites do not provide. For example, every kitchen has a hot and cold drinking water dispenser, a juiceextractor, blender, coffee filter machine, electric toaster oven, a large fridge/freezer and full sized gas cooker with oven. Two of the villas also have a microwave oven. All bedrooms are fitted with air-conditioning which you will probably not need to use because Canang Sari Estate has the year-round benefit of refreshing breezes,making it cool enough at night to sleep comfortably or maybe just to relax and enjoy some music or a film as every bedroom is supplied with a VCD/CD player and television set. Each Villa Description: Villa Melati, The largest of the four, Villa Melati is the most spectacular, dramatically situated at the highest point of the estate, accessed through a 5,000m2 private landscaped garden with many flowering plants and fruit trees. Enjoy the additional space and freedom of the large open terraces, lawns and large pool. There are 4 air-conditioned bedrooms; three in the main house and a fourth on the lower terrace next to the swimming pool. The huge master suite on the first floor benefits from 360' views and year round breezes. This suite is encompassed on three sides by a wide balcony. Wake up to magnificent panoramic views over the ocean, the surrounding gardens and countryside Cool white mosquito netting, colourful sheets, luxuriously soft pillows and informal lighting create a feeling of romance. All bedrooms in Villa Melati have their own private bathrooms equipped with a shower (hot & cold water), wash basins and a toilet. Professional Spa Treatments. Villa Jepun, This fabulous villa is one of three that are accessed from a shared reception area. Set a little lower down the hillside than Villa Melati, with two wonderfully equipped double bedrooms, a dining room, a sitting room and surrounded by delightful cascades of water, it is a sight for sore eyes. The short bridge that links the dining and sitting rooms spans a graceful reflection pool filled with fish and colourful water lilies. This provides a dramatic focal point and the sound of splashing water from the fountain immediately relaxes the mind. The sitting room has a short bar with several stools and is a great place to chat over drinks while entertaining friends. Across a separate bridge, on the other side of the reflection pool, is a guest washroom; a thoughtful addition! On the ocean side of the sitting room is an open terrace. A set of chairs and a coffee table make this a pleasant area to laze and enjoy the quietude of your surroundings The first bedroom is adjacent to the sitting room. As previously mentioned, all the bedrooms are complemented with colourful linens, cool netting, fitted wardrobes, discreet lighting and an en-suite bathroom that is entered through an antique double doorway, ornately carved with traditional designs. Twin wash basins, a shower, toilet and a large bathtub decorated with mother of pearl add to the feeling of luxury. Bathrooms are given a great deal of attention in all four villas and Villa Jepun is no exception. They are equally tastefully designed in a manner that combines alluring appearance with functional efficiency. One of the highlights in this bathroom is a waterfall set into the wall A few metres away from the main pavilion is the second bedroom, designed and built to the same opulent standards and containing a king-size bed. On the ground floor there is an extremely comfortable sitting room with access to a toilet/shower room with twin washbasins. On each side of the sitting room there are mezzanine floors, one with a very well equipped and furnished kitchen and dining area and on the other, an additional sitting area and office space with a large desk and connections for fax and access to the Internet As in all four villas, the artwork is both eclectic and captivating. Here, there are two large, colourfully vibrant paintings by the renowned Balinese artist, Made Darsana which really add life to the atmosphere. Ascending either of two spiral stone staircases will take you to the upper floor and the two luxurious bedrooms. Each has a terrace with comfortable furniture where you can sit and relax while gazing out over the ocean. Both bedrooms in Villa Merak share the open style bathroom, which due to the elevated location of the villa, remains private. With twin wash basins, shower, toilet and a stunning twin sized terrazzo bathtub, you can soak away your worries, secure in the knowledge that you are in one of the most comfortable and exclusive resorts to be found in Bali. Villa Akasia, Last but most definitely not least is Villa Akasia which is set into the hillside on two levels and very private. The upper level houses the two air-conditioned bedrooms and, as with Villa Merak, these share the spacious open style bathroom, which due to the elevated location of the villa, remains secluded. There are twin wash basins, shower, toilet and a stunning twin sized terrazzo bathtub, which our staff can fill with flowers and scented bath oils, to make a relaxing end to your day! The lower level contains a large sitting room and kitchen and an office space with a desk, telephone and connections for fax and the Internet. From past experience, however, we find that guests soon forget about work as they become enveloped in the relaxed rhythm of Bali. The peace and tranquillity of this area will hit you the minute you arrive and the stresses and strains of your everyday life will just fade away. The emphasis here is on space, as the sitting room is very large and furnished with invitingly comfortable sofas. Windows on three sides afford commanding views over the landscape and the sea. Comfort is a keyword in all the villas but this one is especially comfortable. The large two-tiered swimming pool is only a few steps away and, as with all the villas, there is a barbecue terrace with its own pizza oven. For the fitness-conscious, between Villas Akasia and Merak, you will discover a gymnasium equipped with an exercise bike, benches, and a selection of free weights.
